The Freesbee Ventures team has announced its second fund, with a stated size of $15 million. It will invest primarily in AI-first companies from late seed to Series A+ that have already validated demand through revenue. The team includes Andrei Yuranau, Anton Vasiliev and Mike Torro.

Freesbee is looking for companies where AI is central to the product rather than an added feature. It is targeting companies with annual recurring revenue above $1 million and plans to write checks of $300,000–500,000. The US is its priority market, but the team will also consider startups in Europe, Latin America, MENA and Asia-Pacific. It does not rule out investments in strong teams outside AI.

Alongside conventional equity investments, Freesbee plans to offer non-dilutive financing to companies with working unit economics. The fund says it is prepared to co-finance marketing cohorts and recoup its investment from the revenue they generate, without taking an ownership stake or a board seat. The team is also preparing an accelerator for companies growing through performance marketing.

The new fund follows Freesearch Ventures, launched in 2022 with a focus on late-seed IT and fintech companies. Since then, the team has invested in 14 startups. According to the fund, its portfolio has reached 4x MOIC (Multiple On Invested Capital — the ratio of the current value of the fund’s investments to the capital invested), while its aggregate value has grown nearly sixfold.

“Most of what we learned came from the founders: how hard the work is, how much a good team matters, and how far persistence takes you when nothing else is going your way.

The second fund is built on that, plus more expertise, a clearer view of how companies actually grow, and a front-row seat at the biggest technology shift of our time,” Andrei Yuranau writes.

Yuranau previously worked at RBF Ventures, a venture fund established in partnership with the Belarusian Innovation Fund. At Freesbee Ventures he is part of the investment team. The team uses its own AI systems to source and screen projects and monitor the portfolio; it says its investment process can take up to six weeks.
