The living map of Belarusian-founded startups outside Belarus

The Belarusian startup ecosystem did not disappear after 2020. It scattered — and kept building. BYGRID tracks the signals: startups, stages, funding rounds, ecosystem players and founder stories.

One place to see who is building what, where, and what is emerging next.

Why now

The ecosystem moved faster than the infrastructure around it. Startups relocated. Teams rebuilt. New projects appeared. But the shared map never caught up. BYGRID exists to make this distributed ecosystem searchable, readable and connected.

Starting with MedTech — because one clean vertical is better than a noisy database dump.

Methodology

How the map is built

BYGRID is built from open databases, media research, company websites, founder profiles, app store updates and community submissions. Funding data is added only when it can be publicly verified.

Stages and activity status are based on visible signals and updated when better data appears.

No black box. No random lists. Just a cleaner way to read a fragmented ecosystem.

Read methodology

Not another startup list

Most startup lists go stale. Most databases miss the context. Most ecosystem knowledge lives in private chats.

BYGRID is designed as a living map: structured enough for research, open enough for community updates, and editorial enough to make the ecosystem readable.
