The second TEDxUlicaMińska will take place in Warsaw on November 7 — this time in the TEDxWomen format. Speakers include entrepreneurs, researchers, technology company leaders and people working in the arts. The organisers promise talks on science, business, technology, culture and society.

TEDxUlicaMińskaWomen focuses on women’s ideas and topics connected to women’s experiences, without limiting the conversation to them. The conference is open to everyone, regardless of gender. Talks lasting up to 10 minutes will be delivered in Belarusian, Russian, Polish and English.

Speakers include Veronika Zdanovich, a C-level executive at Welltory working at the intersection of technology, health and empathetic leadership; Maria Lemeza, CEO and founder of the international SMAR GLOBAL group of companies and an investor; Maria Loiko, a researcher at the Polish Academy of Sciences and a science communicator; Alexandra Stelmashonok, a contemporary multidisciplinary artist, calligrapher and graphic designer; and Daria Danilova, a serial entrepreneur, CEO of Elatra and an investor.

As Valentina Chekan, speaker coach at TEDxUlicaMińska, explains, the organisers shape the programme around the ideas speakers can offer the audience, rather than their professional experience alone. An important part of the format is bringing together subjects that rarely share a conference programme: from medicine and technology to art and history.

The event also has a strong Belarusian context. The team aims to present ideas rooted in Belarusian experience that are accessible and relevant to an international audience. TEDxUlicaMińska is organised by volunteers: the people behind the event contribute their own time and expertise.

Alongside the talks, the programme includes discussions, meetings with speakers and networking. Tickets are already on sale, and the programme continues to grow. The full speaker list and further details are available on the TEDxUlicaMińska website.
